I built up their design practice end-to-end as their first design hire.--Overhauled both of their user-facing portals to streamline the content creation process. CSAT up 10% with redesign.--Internal UX re-architecture saved 120+ hours (36% reduction) of time spent for the team.--Designed a new configuration process that scaled up campaigns 100x without having to rebuild the base technology.--Led the effort to build their first Design System (in Figma.)--Conducted over 30 user interviews and mentored juniors in their research efforts.--Planned and facilitated over 15 workshops (virtual and in-person.) --Implemented Heap Analytics to track workflow patterns.--Created wireframes and prototypes for over 60 features.--4.4% increased sign-ups after form redesign (32.7% to 37.1%).

Instituted design processes as the first full-time designer hire at this organization. Conducted workshops with executives, directors and external users. Added a design QA process to the engineering JIRA flow. Conducted user research and trained the Product team to assist. Launched a Design System to rebuild the UI and CSS. Designit is a global design consultancy with a roster of Fortune 500 companies. My key clients were PNC Bank, Mastercard, GSK, and FedEx.--Led or helped facilitate numerous workshops for alignment or getting to rapid solutions. --Executed UX mockups and prototypes across 8+ clients projects.--Learned AngularJS to accelerate live demos for GSK prototype.--Helping PNC Bank with their high wealth customer segment, they extended my contract 3x to continue my services.--Researched FedEx’s logistics model to map out the mainframe transition to the cloud.

At buildit, my role was to split tasks between UX design and front end development. Took a leading role in building and ideating on internal tools and processes. Worked with development teams embedded in corporate clients to build customer facing solutions.

As part of the product design team, I worked with product managers and the engineering teams to create innovative designs for the company's enterprise level cloud apps. I drove up design fidelity in the products by introducing design checks in QA testing and tighter integration into JIRA. Our team transitioned the visual style guide from Illustrator and Photoshop to Sketch and Invision creating a design system in the process. Used metrics from customer service to improve the marketing and customer experience of the UX flows. With the team was able to prototype 6-8 demos within weeks.

Directed overall UX team direction and ideation, made product decisions, and designed for HR web apps. Helped navigate the separation of two product suites by setting the standards for the brand, art direction, visual design, and interaction design. Managed a team of three UX designers while co-leading the overall Design team of 8.

Worked on a cloud database service requiring deep research into web technologies. Did a mix of UX design and team leading. Also, advocated for IBM Design Thinking, a framework for usability and user research. My leadership was in uniting the many different teams to build consensus, and quickly build up a suite of new functionality before the annual presentation to customers.
