I oversaw all content in the sports department. I produced, wrote, edited, and anchored all weekday sports broadcasts for the daily newscasts. I implemented new show ideas and created a new weekly chronicle of the Grand Junction Rockies, which airs every Friday. It is the only show of it's kind in the Grand Valley.

I produce, write, edit, and anchor the sports-casts for the weekend news-casts. During the week, I work as a sports reporter and/or news reporter. I produce, edit, write, research, investigate, and shoot video for my reports.

Worked as a reporter for our weekly half-hour program that showcased small businesses throughout the metro- and front range-area of Denver, CO. In addition to reporting, I contacted business owners and managers in order to get their businesses featured on the show.

I shoot speeches, presentations, and symposiums for the Park Center of Independent Media, including a speech by the editor of the "National Review," Rich Lowry, and the 1st Annual Izzy Award in 2008. I also edited and produced a video highlighting the career of journalist Jeremy Scahill for the 2nd Annual Izzy Awards in 2009.

I fully produce 3-5 minute packages for sports stories in the city of Torrance, CA. I pitch stories for approval, and then conduct interviews. Followed by writing the story, tracking it, and editing it.

Participate in daily pitch meetings and further assist producers/correspondents with research and production of their stories, including interviews and logging. I assist reporters, producers, and engineers on live field shoots. I conduct interviews on "Red Carpet" events.

I was a runner at the Alpine Skiing/Snowboarding venue at Cypress Mountain. I worked hands on with the broadcasters in statistical analysis and updates during live, as well as taped, broadcasts. I worked for the producers researching and creating information binders used during all of our broadcasts. I worked directly with the broadcast manager and the producers of our venue to set-up, maintain, and tear down the compound. I assisted the field engineers with setting up field shots and conducting interviews at post-competition.

Assisted the anchors and producers in producing packages and highlights. I wrote stories with the anchors for nightly broadcasts, I interviewed professional athletes, and logged a variety of sports games.
