- Created a micro-service for an internal API for an of an e-commerce store that supplies image buffers hosted on AWS S3 to team members implemented with React, NodeJS (Express), Mongo.- Developed an animated sliding image carousel that render images of products that utilizes CSS grid and flexbox for a responsive design feature- Containerized service with Docker and deployed to AWS ECS while leveraging AWS ECR for Docker images version management. - Daily collaboration with team to discuss features, implementations, bug fixes and progress updates.- Implemented a proxy server that holds together all micro-services to operate and render with responsiveness on desktop and mobile screen ratio.

- Collaborated with a team to take over inherited legacy codebase and migrate data to a new database that is more suitable for scaling.- Persisted over 10 million records in Cassandra database, designed custom tables for efficient data access and retrieval, containerized with Docker and deployed database to AWS for cloud access.- Integrated testing tools such as New Relic, K6, LoaderIO for stress testing server to identify bottlenecks and make improvements.- Implemented server-side rendering on the proxy server for faster page load and search engine optimization. - Horizontally scaled API micro-service and proxy server to multiple instances on AWS ECS (EC2) to handle up to 1000 request per seconds at 0% error rate.- Implemented Redis cache on the proxy server to prevent expensive redundant calls to the API and databases which improves the overall load time on both back end and front end side of the service.
