This position is responsible for the Southwest Regional business unit of North America. Primary responsibilities are overall P and L performance for the region, portfolio and event management, ensuring events are operated in an effective, safe and consistent manner to IRONMAN's standard level of excellence and day to day management of regional personnel in the Southwestern Regional Office. Portfolio includes triathlons from sprint to IRONMAN Championship, mountain bike, and running events – including Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathons.

Provide support for the Global Operational Team and Regional Operational Leadership with new event implementation, course and venue development for new races, review potential new venues and vetting of existing events.

The Head of Operations for EMEA oversees Regional Directors, Manager of Athlete Services and Head of Logistics. This position provides operational and budgetary oversight in region, as well as driving global processes and procedures.

The Regional Director oversees Managing Directors and Race Directors within his or her respective region, oversees all aspects budgeting, event delivery, staff, new business, ops standards, training/orientation, customer service, & new events.

Technical Event Oversight/Assistance with global events and special assignment projects as assigned by Global COO. Provide support for Global Operational Team and Regional operational leadership with new event implementation, course development, venue development, vetting of existing events, education of full time & part time staff, and dealing with operational challenges as they present.

Multisports also owned an operated multiple mass participation endurance events including the Encinitas Sports Festival, Fire Road Cycling, & others. Multisports was also the operational arm of Centurion Cycling, Pedal the Cause, Petco 5K9, and Camp Pendleton's Mud Run.

The 5K9 Walk/Run is a pet friendly 5km and 1-mile walk/run for people with or without their dogs. Sponsors and expo vendors come from the pet and fitness industries and get to interact directly with their core consumer. Participants get a high quality event that is perfectly aligned with heath and wellness for both people and pets.
