• Ensure satisfactory client liaison between the company, its stakeholders, service providers, auditors and Head office• Oversee that correct process is followed during the advertising, issuing of documents to tenderers, opening and recording of tenders received• Scrutinise and process payments to contractors and consultants for the duration of the projects• Ensure payments are made after receipt of certificates in compliance with Public Finance Management Act• Ensure accounts are correctly recorded in the accounting system and controlled in line with cost centre budgets• Ensure that all payments meet the current financial policies, contractual agreements and all statutory requirements• Check financial accuracy of certificates, that they have required approvals before being processed on SAP for payment• Ensure that retention provisions for all current projects are adjusted in SAP as per the submitted certificates• Ensure all memorandums or agreements, tender and contract documents are received and stored safely and that purchase orders are adjusted accordingly• Timeous submission of correct requests by both internal and external auditors• Ensure that day-to-day filing of all debtors, creditors (including contractor and consultant certificates) is done according to the company’s policy and standards• Provide full back-up support to the Regional Finance Manager
