• Report directly to the Lead Architect, taking responsibility for implementing project plans and ensuring all items of project deliverables are delivered on time and to the recognized company standards.• Aiding the Lead Architect will all aspects of design development.• Responsibility for the design development of projects from concept to completion.• Coordinate design team meetings with the relevant sub consultants. Jebel Ali Park HotelRun projects under the supervision of the Lead or Senior Architect, enforcing the implementation of operational standards and ensuring the Architects under my direction understand and adhere to these standards.

• Investigate and research background of each client’s company • Identify contact persons and their role/position for client, structural/M&E Engineer, other consultants• Prepare a list of documents to form the design documentation and working drawings package• Review and summarize all statutory requirements in regards to local authority submissions• Collect briefing requirements and details of the project brief from the client• Finalize the client brief for approval and sign off• Co-ordinate with Designers and Marketing. • Using standard formats for briefing, collect all relevant information for the design proposal from the client• Identify resources required and program to complete a proposal• Assist in preparing the client service or turnkey contract in coordination with the Project Director• Organize and co-ordinate with the Designer, Marketing, Site coordinator and Administrator to prepare a project programme.• Coordinate with the CAD team to prepare construction documentation for both architectural, interior and M&E work including details and specifications• Prepare sketch designs including perspectives, material selections etc.• Prepare sketch designs, details and materials of interior design and furniture for input by the CAD team and 3D (if necessary)• Research design materials and design concepts from sources such as magazine, dwp design database, websites, brochure and previous dwp projects• Revise the design based on input from the client• Participate in internal design reviews of design concepts• Visit the project site to take site measurements, digital photographs and investigate the area• Present the design concept to the client with the Project Director• Conduct design review and evaluation with the design team• Co-ordinate with the M&E consultant or other project consultants• Co-ordinate with the project manager and investigate existing mechanical and electrical system documents and relevant architectural documents.
