- Work at the Penicillin injection facility (following EU standards).- Participate in the setup process of a new facility through many validation such as: + Perform evaluations on machinery performance (Autoclaves, Incubators, LAF, Biosafety Cabinets, Automatic Media Fillers) + Conduct assessments related to the bactericidal effectiveness of cleaning agents and disinfectants (Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing). + Evaluate the growth-promoting properties of culture media used for microbial testing, ensuring they support the growth of known microorganisms (SDA, TSB, TSAPL, XLD, MSA,...)- Perform quality control testing (such as sterility test, microbial enumeration test) of raw materials, packaging materials according to established TI/SOP.- Collect and examine microbiological testing of steam, compressed air, water for injection, water in generation loops.- Sampling and testing the microbial contamination levels in the manufacturing environment, including air, surfaces, and personnel, to ensure a controlled and clean production area (Environmental monitoring).- Isolate bacteria and fungi strains from samples obtained at the facility (Microbial identification test).

Prof. NGUYEN HOANG KHUE TU (nhktu@hcmiu.edu.vn)Location: Cell Biotechnology Laboratory (LA1. 701)Project title: Screening for antimicrobial, anticoagulant activities and DNA damage protection ability of protein extracts obtained from Bifidobacterium breve ATCC 15700.Role:- Designed and executed experiments to isolate, concentrated, dialyzed protein extracts from Bifidobacterium breve ATCC 15700 and screen for their activities. - Enhance the investigating process to increase the yield of protein extracts.- Operated laboratory analyzer machines (HPLC, Spectrophotometry, pH meter, Agarose gel electrophoresis apparatus). - Achieved 98% accuracy in all tests performed during project.- Followed all safety protocols. Calibrated and maintained all lab equipment- Trained 1 new volunteer in lab.Result: Protein extracts obtain from B. breve ATCC 15700 plays a distinct role in treating infectious diseases, thrombotic diseases, and diseases related to DNA mutations and damage caused by harmful agents. These proteins could be a promising candidate for the development of clinical medicines in the future.
