I have arrived at a point in my professional and personal development where it's crystal clear what contribution I want to make: I want to help create spaces where life can be experienced as life. Yes, I know it sounds tautological, but you get my drift. It's about supporting manifestations of vitality, whether it's in the interpersonal space constituted by a coaching relationship, the collaborative setting within work systems of all sorts, or the places that shape (and are being shaped by) communities. This mission involves 'humble inquiry', systems tinkering, and generally a willingness to embrace complexity and wonder of all kinds. Because life is, if anything, unruly, and stupefyingly beautiful. I want to bring 30 years of professional experience to bear on this mission. And 25 years of collaboration and togetherness in the unique setting of shiftN, a self-organising community of dedicated system and futures practitioners. And last but not least 20 years of cultivating artistic sensibilities through writing and photography.
