Co-designer / Assistant Project Manager of DONG Energy's Virtual Power Plant solution - 'Power Hub'.The Power Hub system orchestrates the behaviour of large numbers of dispersed consumption, production and storage units. In this way, they can participate in the balancing of the power and energy system in an coordinated manner.As a co-designer of Power Hub, I developed the control concepts for mobilizing the consumption, production and storage asset. I was also responsible for system integration to the power system operators.Power Hub is in daily operation in Denmark and on the Faroe Islands, the latter thanks to the co-operation between the Faroese system operator SEV and DONG Energy. The Faroese Islands serve as a 'live' test bench for certain Power Hub services.
