I am Phylecia and while building a business talking about money, I fell in love with researching events that are looking for speakers. I did not realize this was my superpower until a handful of friends made me pay attention and now this is what I do… along with talking about money, giving a voice to women in STEM and traveling the world making new friends.Over the last few years, I have been honored to speak on numerous stages in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom to market my business; emcee women in business events; and deliver keynote talks on what I learned as a woman in technology. These amazing opportunities have come from NBC, TED Radio Hour, Cigna Health, DocuSign, iThemes, Women in Travel Summit and host of other organizations. I must say, though, my biggest highlight was giving my first TEDx talk “All Girls are Great at Math.” And YES, I still get nervous on stage!Even though my money coaching business simmered down over the years, I was able to transform that into being a financial contributor for a US based national television show, Daily Blast Live, leaving me with room to become the Lead Researcher of iFind You Close. To be honest, I did not know my former life as a Computer Scientist and random research girl, would come to life in this unique business. I love the challenge of researching the thousands of events that are happening each day to find the right ones to share with speakers looking to grow. From tech summits to cookie cons to shoe make conferences, I have almost seen it all. And when I say there is an event for that… trust me! I probably found it already.Now back to the fun. When I am not finding the end of the internet, I blog about on my personal brand site about my travels, roaming around in an RV, being a former cheerleader, achieving 100hrs towards being a yacht captain and improving my landscape photography skills.
