Design Consultant Flooring Industry - Residential - Commercial - New Construction - Remodel

This is a Part-Time Position and I have limited hours.I assist the owner, Dennis Norman, with Month End and Year End Reports.

Assist clients with selections of quality flooring that accommodates their lifestyles. Naples has a unique and diverse population and I truly enjoy meeting every person that visits our store.

Greeted customers and sold Sleep Number Mattresses and Bedding according to the customers individual sleep needs while staying within their budget.Key employee and opened and closed the store as scheduled. Upsold customers when ever possible. Opened line of credit for those that needed and/or took payments of cash or credit. Operated the POS computer program for Inventory, Time Maintenance, Sales Reports and many other important day to day functions.Merchandising - Planograms and Monthly Ad ResetsInventory - Check in new merchandise and add in the POS program - Manual inventory's - Process exchanges and/or returns and place back into inventory or set aside for charity.Address angry customers and come up with solutions to resolve the problems.Make daily calls from various call lists to generate new customers.Follow up with customer purchases while making sure that the customers were satisfied.

Whitman Saddle was a small business that manufactured English Riding Saddles and Tack for horses. They were the third largest Distributor of Equestrian goods in the United States. The company sold and the new owners moved operation to Mexico and Texas.My duties included Reception, Employee Relations, Data Entry, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Payroll, Inventory, Correspondence, Filing, Event Planning, Trade Show Travel Arrangements, and many other office related tasks.
