As a retired police Sergeant, he delivered gifts by police horse cart, as well as a battallion of police cars into dangerous neighborhoods; until his untimely death in 2010.

Child Study and Eligibility Chair. Individual, Group, and classroom counseling concerning self-esteem, anger management, study skills, academic performance, and special needs. Created and/or implemented guidance counselor programs in 5 elementary schools. Served as a psychological consultant to the Va. Dept. of Education during the Gulf War; giving talks,presenting a complete set of guidelines and procedures for war related and familial deployment counseling; and cooperating in the related selection of materials to be distributed to every school in the State.

Contracted to the Family Advocacy Dept. of the U.S. Navy; researching, analyzing, making recommendations, and developing programs to address such issues as Smoking Cessation, Stress Management,Family Violence, the need for family counseling centers - consulting with major corporations such as TENNECO, the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Institutes of Health(NIH), and military staff around the world.(1984)

Liaison representative and aide for the planning of the Columbia, Spacelab I mission; working with top officials, scientists, and astronauts; with specific emphasis on the mission's scientific experiments.
