Executive Assistant I
CurrentReport and assist the Vice President of Finance for Revenue Cycle Services.Performs duties in a manner promoting positive team (directors, managers) participation while meeting the goals, vision, shared mission and values of Regional One Health and the Revenue Cycle team.Take action authorized when necessary and use initiative and judgment to see that matters requiring attention are referred to delegated authority or handled in a manner so as to minimize effect of Vice President's absenceDraft contractual letters to attorney and/or law firm regarding settlement discussion for payment on behalf of the organization .Provide attorneys with monthly spreadsheet of claims for the recovery of hospitalization and medical treatment of state prisonersInsuring cohesive process of preparing check request payments for patients, insurance companies and contractors/vendors.Assist in preparing check refunds to insurance companies and patients.Schedule and coordinate all team committee meetings; 1:1 with direct reports.Maintain VP calendar; travel arrangements for conferences, etc.Assist consultants and invited guests in navigating within the hospital as well as making sure that they have access to needed areas and software applications.Responsible for all logistics of meetings including conference room reservations, parking reservations, teleconference and webinars; catering services and printing needs.Track and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, etc.
