I appraised, arranged, and described newly acquired collections and accessions from existing collections, employing full and minimal processing methods. I described collections using DACS, and created finding aids in XML Editor 20.1. I preserved electronic records using DROID, Fixity, Data Accessioner, Exactly (Bagit protocol), Bulk Extractor, DupeGuru, XENA, EXIFTool. Also, I provided reference services to students, faculty, and the public via email, phone, and face-to-face. Picturing Milwaukee: The Blc Field School, Washington Park Neighborhood

I researched the architectural and ownership history of the Frederick Koenig House and the Bus Stop Coffee Shop, which are located in the Washington Park neighborhood. With a team of two other students, we measured the Frederick Koenig House and created blueprints of the exterior and first floor interior of the house. I interviewed the current owners and took photographs of the buildings. I wrote a narrative describing the history of each building and how the function and purpose of the interior spaces changed over time. I transcribed scanned membership cards of the War Mothers of America – Milwaukee County Chapter, part of the World War I Military Portraits collection.

Clinical Intake Department - Aurora At Home

I provided clerical support to the department nurses by entering demographic, insurance, and medical information from the incoming home care and hospice referrals into the company's database. Also, I expedited the completion of the data entry process by obtaining and sharing pertinent medical and demographic information by speaking with hospital and clinic personnel, patients, and in-house pharmacists. I created a new data entry process and record storage system in one of the agency's hard drive and trained nurses and data entry assistants the new process. I created a departmental orientation/instruction booklet for new data entry assistants and solved computer-related problems in processing a referral.

Aurora At Home

I arranged and described over 21 cubic feet of the agency's archives, and created a content list, in preparation for its transfer to the Wisconsin Historical Society.

Health Information Department, Aurora At Home

I filed and maintained pharmacy, durable medical equipment, home health, and hospice records and charts. Also, I created electronic pharmacy records by scanning the paper records and indexing their document type and start of care and discharge dates into the department's database.

Milwaukee County Historical Society

I processed several small collections and arranged and cataloged some of the materials from the extensive Citizens for a Better Environment collection.
