I am confident, reliable and responsible. I fit quickly into new situations in a positive manner.In previous posts with the British Council and current post,I have been involved in full time teaching at all age groups and levels including IELTS as well as corporate. In addition I develop materials relevant to students’ needs. For example; students wishing to be able to communicate in everyday situations. I integrated into the course, functional language and role play,. Resulting in students feeling more prepared and confident. Non-teaching; I am the Child Protection Focal Point I have delivered presentations to raise awareness of all employees of British Council procedures and policies. As Teachers’ Representative for the second year I have supported teachers when asked with management to find workable solutions.Projects approached me to give a presentation at King Abdul-Aziz University at the Career Forum. This was to inform and assist women in gaining employment. I researched and approached instructors to establish what was expected and needed. I produced a Power Point with worksheets and included role plays in the area of interview technique and generic CV’s that could be adapted to the job being applied for. The result was we had to hold two sessions as we were oversubscribed.I am technically proficient using digital and on line platforms to encourage student autonomy or deliver more support.I have dekivered INSETTs Make Technology Fun Your Classroom..
