I am a doctoral prepared registered nurse. Most recently I worked as a Nurse Scientist for Baylor Scott and White Health System. In this position I assisted nurses from a variety of educational and experience levels to develop, implement and evaluate evidence based practice and nursing research projects. I am very familiar with developing research protocols to submit to Institutional Review Boards for approval. During my time in this role, I was able to assist with the 52 completed projects and many of which resulted in articles published in peer reviewed journals and/or presentations at regional or national professional conferences. I also have over 20 years of experience teaching nursing. I have taught nursing at the associate, bachelors, and master degree levels. I have taught in face to face courses, online, hybrid, skills lab and clinical settings.
