I worked as Stan Pfeiffer's legal assistant at the firm of Whittington, Pfeiffer & Vacek and his subsequent firms. During the first three years of my employment I worked on a case assisting him in the defense of the manufacturer of a ETO sterilizer which involved 38 plaintiffs. Responsibilities included obtaining and summarizing medical records and preparing for and attending depositions. Following that, I assisted him as a paralegal in the representation of 150 plaintiffs based on a defective medical implant. Over the years I worked closely with Stan on medical malpractice and personal injury cases from the initial client meetings through the resolution of the cases.
