Provide analytical, research and coordination support to assist the U.S. Air Force, Policy Board Federal Aviation and FAA in research and development efforts, to integrate unmanned aircraft systems into the National Airspace System.Facilitator for Interagency Data Sharing Task. As mandated by Public Law, 112-239, "The Secretary of Defense shall collaborate with the Administrators of the FAA and NASA to conduct research and seek solutions to challenges associated with the safe integration of UAS into the National Airspace System in accordance with.....of the Federal Aviation Administration Modernization and Reform Act of 2012...."Mission: Department of Defense to share data related to the airworthiness certification, policies and operations of unmanned aircraft systems/remotely piloted aircraft between the DoD components and the Federal Aviation Administration. I am Facilitator for an interagency Team assembled to assist FAA lines of business, at the request of the FAA UAS Integration Office, in obtaining, analyzing and applying DoD data to it's efforts in order to expedite, as much as possible, UAS integration into the national airspace system.

Routinely receive updates from Senior White House Officials in support of the National Economic Council. Participate in briefings and discussions on current White House matters.

Working issues of Remotely Piloted Aircraft/Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (RPA/UAS) access into the national airspace (NAS); deployable instrument landing systems; deployable radar approach controls, radar certification and navaids. Distribute timely, valuable activity/information/media releases relative to RPA/UAV's. Maintain service-wide connections, as well as FAA, other agencies and those honorable folks on The Hill.

Elected two consecutive, four-year terms "at large" and represented community of 42,000 residents.
