Phyllis Rubin-Arnold Email and Phone Number

Phyllis Rubin-Arnold has performed publicly in the Greater New York area, Boston and its surrounding suburbs and Bucks County for over 40 years. During this time she worked with some of the greats in the field of Classical Music, including Sarah Caldwell and Leonard Bernstein. While in Boston, Ms. Rubin-Arnold was a member of the Opera Company of Boston, the Longy Opera Theater, Associate Artists Opera of Newton, Quisisana Mainstage, and the Galie Players of Cape Cod. She was one of founding members of the “Opera Lab”, an experimental touring company. She was the music director and principal soloist at two different churches and a guest soloist at many other churches. In addition, she has been a soloist with several orchestras and small chamber music groups. For the past 22 years, she has been a member of the faculty at Solebury School. During that time, she developed classes in Choral Performance, Music Theory, Music History, Computer Music Composition, Multi-Cultural Music, and Blues Improvisation. She has been a voice teacher for over 35 years and maintains a private voice studio in Buckingham for the past 25 years.
