I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Louisville and have had more than 30 years experience working as a marketing professional and the last 14 years in Fund Development. I feel especially passionate about the marketing and development positions I have held with nonprofit organizations such as Kentucky Opera, The Council of State Governments and Cardinal Hill Easter Seals. In 2013 I retired for 6 months, but quickly discovered how much I missed being involved in the professional and business community. I was approached by Welcome Wagon and have helped businesses develop new clients and helped newcomers moving into homes connect with these businesses. I considered retiring again after leaving Welcome Wagon, but felt I would like to continue to work only on a part-time basis. I am thankful to be working for another non-profit at the Middletown City Hall. I am so blessed to enjoy another rewarding place to work.I am Immediate Past President of the Executives Club of Louisville, past President of Sales, Management & Marketing Association, served on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and am currently President of Blue Rose Condo Association.One of my greatest joys is seeing the positive impact non-profits have on the lives of individuals whether it be through the arts, government or medical. It is rewarding to work with so many unique individuals,organizations and business leaders in our community who want to make a difference.
