Promenade was a glossy quarterly publication distributed in luxury hotels and high-end Manhattan residences. New York City-centric, it covered the arts, fashion, style, dining, travel, and sightseeing. I repositioned and redesigned the long-existing magazine in 2007 and was responsible for all editorial content, overall look, budgets and staff. I worked closely with marketing and advertising to maximize the magazine's strength in its category. I Ran the accompanying website, nyluxury.com. The magazine had a controlled circulation of 70,000. > 2008-2010: Editorial Director, NY Metro Parents/ Nymetroparents.com NY Metro Parents is a group of 8 monthly publications distributed in Westchester, Rockland, Fairfield, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Nassau and Suffolk. I was the editorial director and oversaw content, staff for the publications and content for website, nymetroparents.com. The award-winning magazines have a controlled circulation of 400,000. >2006: Editor, Manhattan Living Magazine Manhattan Living was a glossy, digest-sized magazine distributed in Manhattan residences. It covered the arts, fashion, home and dining in the city.

Edited a book on the history of Jones Beach by writer John Hanc, with a foreward by Ed Lowe.

- Responsible for all coverage of arts and culture, books, features, travel, food, fashion, home and gardens, health, media and celebrities. - Recruited staff, repositioned and redesigned many existing sections and created new sections, including health and science, media, and baby boomers, among others.

Coverage of NYC was added to my title and I was responsible for all arts and features for New York City. I hired 30 reporters, critics and editors who competed brilliantly in the New York market, covering all aspects of feature journalism, with a special emphasis on arts and entertainment. I also recruited very accomplished New York writers as contributors.
