She has served on the Executive Committee of the Labor and Employment Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is a past Chair of the LACBA delegation to the Conference of California Bar Associations, where she has also served as Chair. Prior to opening her own law firm, Ms. Kupferstein was a partner at Payne & Fears LLP and at McDermott Will & Emery LLP. She was a founding member and national director of employment litigation and counseling at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP. Ms. Kupferstein received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola Marymount University, where she was an Articles Editor for the Law Review.
