My approach begins with who they are, ministered with caring commitment to their better selves.3 Client Examples:Career Search The Chief HR Officer of a mid-sized media company hired me to conduct her job search. She liked her longtime position but felt bored. We did a deep inner search of her past and who she was becoming. She came to envision her ideal role and we strategized how to transform her present role while also doing an external search. She enrolled in a certificate program to expand her role and chose to remain at her company for another 5 years – very fulfilled!Leadership My client was Executive Director at a fintech company. One direct report constantly socialized despite my client’s warnings. When the direct report complained to my client’s boss that he was not being valued, my client was ready to fire him for insubordination. I suggested this employee might be better suited to another role. After brainstorming all his talents, we strategized an approach that resulted in his being transferred to a sales role - and everyone was more satisfied. New ManagerA client had trouble transitioning from his technical role to his new management role. Many of the technicians did not want to work with him. His problem was very common: he hadn’t let go of being the hands-on technician and he wasn’t taught leadership skills. For 6+ months he worked to mentor and develop his teams rather than step in to fix each problem. He allowed his teams to develop their own solutions and let go of knowing the only “right” way. We worked on his communication styles and managing up and down. Word of his transformation spread throughout the company. His teams became more productive and his boss gave him elite teams to manage.

Two weeks later he was called to continue the project per the original contract. My client told me he couldn’t have responded that way prior to our coaching and he slept well during those two weeks! That moment taught me the power and potential in Positive Intelligence ™.
