As Admin Cost Controller at Marketing and Sales, I was responsible for processes concerning Budget, Forecast and control of Admin cost, such as salaries, travel, IT and other cost. I worked with SAP and HFM systems.I did the monthly closing for the unit Marketing and Sales Central. Selling expenses are the equivalent cost at Volvos National Sales Companies globally. My responsibility was to set the targets for Selling expenses at the NSCs in cooperation with the Business Controllers for each market. I reported deviations versus targets and addressed the need for robust road maps to reach targets.

Capital Spending is a part of the VCC Cash flow forecast and I was actively involved in the Cash flow forecasting 2008-2010, particularly following the Accounts Receivables of the NSCs. I took part in collecting financial information in preparation of the Due Diligence before the sale of VCC to Geely. At that point we worked closely with the Detroit KPMG accountants in charge of the documentation.

The C70 project (coupe and convertible) started as a Joint Venture with the well-known English race car design company TWR (Tom Walkingshaw Racing) which meant a lot of travelling and international contacts. The factory was situated in Uddevalla.I had the similar role in the Prestudy of S40/V50 project, where VCC had close cooperation with Mitsubishi and plans of a mutual platform design, but later decided on a Ford solution.
