After having successfully finished the apprenticeship in events management, I worked on different projects at Hamburg Messe before making the decision to further deepen my theoretical knowledge and starting a double degree at the Europa-Universität Flensburg and the University of Southern Denmark.

The apprenticeship in Events Management is a 3-year program with several rotations (typcially every 4-6 months) to gain experience in different areas and see all aspects of the trade fair business. My stations included: Press, Market Research, Project Management, Sales, Events. I was able to shorten my apprenticeship to 2.5 years due to very good performance and top grades.

During the apprenticeship at the Hamburg Messe and Congress GmbH, the internship at Montgomery Exhibitions in London provided me with a perspective on working and living abroad, next to the experience of seeing another company from the inside.
