The concept strives to… Show more Gurre Skovhave is a business centered around a small-scale organic forest garden growing a high diverse production of fruit, berries and perennial vegetables. Furthermore, the farm holds a small-scale egg production from free-land chickens. The design of Gurre Skovhave benefits from the structure of a natural woodland enabling us to design a resilient and diverse production. Further the design supports a sustainable production and the re-capture of CO2 into the soil. The concept strives to shortening the distance between locally produced food and the consumer. The first products were launched to local high-end supermarkets and restaurants in 2018. Achievements:• Establish the company Gurre Skovhave, incl. design of 3 Ha food forest with fruit trees & berry bushes.• Design of three new production buildings incl. contact to authorities and managing approvals. • Responsible of setting up a sale and distribution for high-end food products sold at local restaurants and supermarkets as Irma, Meny and Årstiderne. • Implement quality and hygiene control systems based on risk assessment for an organic egg, berries and apple and berry juice production with all DVFA inspections passed.
