In my capacity as a Student Assistant, I serve as an Event Programmer within the Multicultural and Interfaith Spaces at the John Lewis Student Center. My primary responsibility revolves around orchestrating and coordinating a diverse array of cultural events and celebrations.

As a mentee for The Love Project 404, I had the opportunity to interact with mentors from diverse fields and backgrounds. During my time in the program, I was able to learn about various industries, such as business, law, medicine, entrepreneurship, and much more, from the experienced professionals who served as my mentors. Through discussions and networking events, I gained valuable insights into the different career paths that were available to me, and I was able to explore my own interests and passions in more depth. I also had the chance to learn from the unique experiences of my mentors and to gain a better understanding of the skills and qualities that were needed to succeed in different fields. Additionally, as part of The Love Project 404, I had the opportunity to attend court tours and observe proceedings firsthand. These tours were a powerful experience that allowed me to witness the legal system in action.Overall, my experience as a mentee for The Love Project 404 was enlightening and empowering, and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a diverse and talented group of mentors. I feel better equipped to navigate the professional world and pursue my goals with confidence, and I would highly recommend the program to anyone looking to gain valuable insights into different industries and build meaningful connections with experienced professionals.

I was placed at Atlanta Legal Aid through the Atlanta Bar Association's Summer Law Internship Program (SLIP). As an intern at Atlanta Legal Aid during my high school years, I had the opportunity to contribute to various legal projects and initiatives. I supported attorneys in case preparation and research, as well as assisting with client intake and communications. Additionally, I was involved in outreach efforts, helping to spread awareness of legal aid resources and services to underserved communities. Through this experience, I gained valuable insight into the legal field and developed organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

As a Collection Support Aide at Sharon Forks Library, I played a key role in ensuring that the library's collections were organized and accessible to patrons. I was responsible for processing and shelving materials, as well as assisting with inventory and weeding projects. Additionally, I assisted with programming and outreach initiatives, including book displays and community events. Through this role, I developed strong organizational and customer service skills, as well as a deep appreciation for the importance of public libraries in supporting lifelong learning and community engagement.

As a Coding Instructor at Code Ninjas, I had the privilege of teaching children the fundamentals of coding and computer science in a fun and engaging way. I delivered curriculum for various levels of programming proficiency, ensuring that each student received personalized instruction and support. I also provided guidance and mentorship to students as they worked on individual and group projects, helping them develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Additionally, I collaborated with other instructors and staff to create and implement special events and activities to promote learning and community building. Through this role, I developed strong teaching, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a passion for inspiring the next generation of innovators and technologists.

As a private tutor, I had the opportunity to work one-on-one with students of all ages and backgrounds, providing personalized instruction and support to help them achieve their academic goals. I developed and delivered customized lesson plans tailored to each student's unique learning style and needs, focusing on building strong foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills. I also provided guidance and mentorship to students as they worked on assignments and projects, helping them to develop strong study habits and time management skills. As an intern for a social media blogger, I gained valuable experience in the fast-paced world of social media and digital marketing. I assisted with content creation, including writing and editing blog posts, creating graphics and videos, and managing social media channels. Additionally, I conducted research on industry trends and best practices, helping to inform strategy and optimize performance. I also provided support with email marketing, analytics, and community management, working to build and engage a loyal audience. Through this role, I developed strong skills in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing, as well as an understanding of the importance of audience engagement and data-driven decision making.
