"There is no substitute for hard work"This lesson has resonated with me throughout my time spent at BCIT and Cactus Club Café. While being a full-time student in the Professional Sales program at BCIT, I maintain a part-time position with Cactus Club Café being a shift leader, bartender, and server. Cactus Club has given me a passion for customer service, and building relationships in and out of the workplace. BCIT has been a good learning environment for strengthening my interpersonal skills, making team and group dynamics a pleasure to be in.Outside of school and work, I have a true love for playing generally any type of sport. Some favorites, however, are soccer, football, tennis and golf. I believe that having this passion for sports has given me a hard working determined drive, as they are always competitive.In the upcoming 2017, I hope to find a career that challenges me. With BCIT being such a driven environment, I hope to take these skills and hit the ground running.
