From not being able to speak until the age of 4 years, to being diagnosed with dyslexia and bipolar disorder, going through five parental divorces, experiencing domestic violence and childhood abandonment, to overcoming major weight gain from medication—I thought it couldn’t get worse. And then I found out I was disinherited by my mother, one of several Coca-Cola bottling heirs and heiresses in her family. I was not even aware of her death until six months after she died. However, I turned my own chaotic background into a life of beauty.Adversity causes an array of chaos in peoples’ lives.
