A Private Vocal Coach for over 15 years, I am excited to be joining the Maui Music Conservatory to continue training children and adults. Each instrument is different so, while there are standard exercises and techniques employed, I also provide tools specific to the individual to aid in bringing their best voice forward. It's a partnership in building strong vocals and techniques, confidence, stage presence and performance skills. Most of all, it's FUN!

Annmarie and her husband visited Maui in December of 2018. They fell in love with the island, people, culture and weather and decided to take the leap. They purchased their home on Maui and moved in March, 2019 with their teenage daughter.Absolutely loving living on Maui, Annmarie wanted to help others do the same. So, she earned her State of Hawaii Real Estate License, became a member of the Realtor Association of Maui (RAM), maintained her membership in the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and completed her Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certification. As a member of RAM and NAR, Annmarie has access to up to the minute real estate information and statistics that directly impact the market, sellers and buyers. With over 25 years of combined Management and Sales, Education, Training and Coaching experience Annmarie has always focused on cultivating customer relations and providing excellent customer service. She transitioned from Retail, Education and Business Ownership (i.e. restaurants, dry cleaners, retail store and multi-family real estate) to Real Estate in 2016 in Illinois and is excited to provide you the best service in real estate on Maui. Being a substitute is always an adventure. As a substitute I am asked to step in, take over, maintain a positive educational setting, and manage the classroom and continue the learning stream based on lesson plans that I receive upon arrival. It's also fun to interact and have an impact on our up and coming generations. I tip my hat to all the substitute teachers out there who are maintaining normalcy in the classroom everyday.

Vocal coaching is more than just encouraging in-tune singing. It's teaching how to breathe and be in control of that breath; how to calm and control nerves; how to stand tall and have a presence; how to be confident and share that confidence with the audience; how to create memories and touch hearts; and most of all, as a coach, it's about watching a caterpillar turn into a butterfly right before my very eyes.

I am in the process of obtaining a M.A. in International Relations. The end goal is working with and/or for the State Department, NGO's or any other entity dealing with Foreign Relations and the rights and advancement of Women and Children worldwide.

Customer service; sales; orders; design; hiring; AR/AP; customer acquisition and retention

The responsibility as a Customer Service Rep was to determine the customer needs, offer services to fill those needs, close the sales and build loyalty to the brand. As a Collections Specialist the duties included addressing past balances; taking payments and/or setting up reasonable payment plans and restoring service if needed all while maintaining a respectful tone. Of course, there are always quotas and time limits to reach in order to monetize each call....that's always a given in call centers.

The American Red Cross gave me one of the greatest gifts in my working career. I worked, scheduled, trained, organized and learned and laughed with Senior Volunteers from all over the Cleveland area. It was really my training ground in life lessons from seasoned people who, without any predispositions, shared their own ups and downs, would haves and could haves and, the age-old phrase 'do what you love and you'll never work a day.' I know I'm supposed to write what I did for the Red Cross but, really, when working for a non-profit and/or as a volunteer I believe the individual gets more satisfaction out of being part of something bigger than themselves.
