BBBY focused on the ecommerce business, the eCommerce Operations Team focused more on process improvements to move more product images\data to their website.• 2 C# developers were brought on to enhance our business process• The eCommerce Operations Department grew from 90 to 175 employees• Software development was consolidated to 2 primary applicationso Digital Image Processing (Frontend)o Digital Image Processing (Backend)• Workflow process was transformed from batch to continuous processing.• Image processing went to 2,000 to 5,000 images a day during this time. • Occasionally, we have one time projects to move 15,000 images and related data to the website.

As the success of the business expanded and the number of employees in the eCommerce Operations Team grew, the demands on my time where getting more than I could handle myself. • An associate programmer was added for daily maintenance and support of our team• The eCommerce Operations Department grew from 50 to 90 employees• The 2 Call Centers and 500+ Stores got access to my intranet site• The intranet site referenced data for over 800,000 skus

The internet was becoming a bigger part of the BBBYs business and the website become the biggest store in sales in the entire company. I continued to work tirelessly develop, support, and maintain the tools for the eCommerce Operations Team.• Developed another 10 production tools for our Team• The 2 most important tools from this time: Content Management and Vendor Image Tracking• The eCommerce Operations Department dept grew from 15 to 50 employees• The intranet site I developed was enhanced for Management reporting• The intranet site referenced data for over 100,000 skus• The 4 Warehouse Facilities got access to my intranet site• Warehouse Management reporting functionality was added • Created first digital catalog for the bridal business

It was the dawning of the internet and no one knew where this was going. BBBY had just launched website for a sampling of its products. The eCommerce Operations Team didn’t have was any data management tools to process the images or data for the new site. I started developing the tools necessary to get batches of product data and image to the site for customers to purchase• Developed over 15 production tools in a 5-year span for data management for the department.• Took the process of manually uploading product data and streamlined it batch over 1,000 products a day to the website.• Created process to also remove items from the site there were no longer available.• Worked with a department of 15 employees to train, support and developed tools to make their work easier• Created an intranet site for our Dept using ASP Classic and an Oracle Database to show the product data we managed for the website. (Around 4,000 skus at the time)

Helped support and worked on developing a new version of an internal application that was giving to clients to analyse and review data provided by The Conference Board; called BoardView.

Worked closely with a very knowledglable Microsoft Access professional to create a multifaceted application for a start-up franchise insurance broker; DCAP in 1995. http://www.dcapinsurance.com/default.asp.This application covered client information, the ability to enter coverage information for many types of insurance, print data to specific insurance forms and log client payments for the down payment for policy and services. Eventually, the payment and insurance data from the franchisees was exported nightly to the home office for uploading to the insurance companies and internal analysis.I served as developer and online\phone tech support for the 26 store fronts opened during this time.I became the sole developer and went on to add a tax return module to support services related to Federal 1040 Tax Returns.In addition, I developed\supported\maintained a membership application for the United Teachers of Dade, FL for Citron as well.

Helped with data analysis projects for the biggest school testing system in the United States. Used a variety of technologies including, COBOL, SPSS, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access.At the time, the tools we had to work on these data sets made the work very challenging.Helped create the first prototype of the school test results report card in Microsoft Access 2.0. It was the lauching point for the one they are using to this day. And was modeled by many other schools in the nation for their testing report cards as well.
