Spearheaded the creation and launch of the Mergers and Acquisitions department including the innovative end-to-end processes related to sourcing, screening, completion of due diligence activities, valuations, and modeling. Facilitated training for staff on diligence and integration. Cultivated strategic business relationships and grew existing pipeline to 20+ active discussions and 100+ opportunities across the US. Contributed guidance and advice on the successful strategies to improve musculoskeletal service lines at health systems. Served as subject matter expert in outpatient rehabilitation which evolved into development of an outpatient rehabilitation key assessment tool and consultation to 33 hospitals in 14 states. Performed detailed white paper analysis and recommended improvements for sports medicine and outpatient rehabilitation programs.

Reported directly to CEO in Start-up Company focusing on physician-owned physical therapy practice management and joint ventures. Created clinical compliance programs to satisfy federal, state, and local regulation. Developed employment manuals and policy and procedure documents. Designed competitive benefits programs. Managed four outpatient rehabilitation offices in the Pittsburgh area.

Held increasingly responsible positions at the third largest outpatient rehabilitation company in the US. Began as a staff physical therapist (1 year), Facility Director (6 years), and General Manager (3 years). Managed 26 outpatient rehabilitation facilities and over 55 employees in a 3 county territory in southwestern, PA. Accountable for a $15.5 million dollar regional budget through the implementation of physical and occupational therapy services, DME and O&P sales. Acted as Medicare, OSHA, state, and local regulation compliance officer for all facilities in territory.
