*Manages teams of analysts who specialize in Customs Classification, Valuation andResearch processes*Ensures that team members appropriately evaluate all trade transactions and provideCustoms valuation and Classification opinions using applicable valuation methodologies,relevant databases and HS nomenclature to confirm the correctness of prices and HScodes declared by trade clients*Monitors timeliness and quality of operational processes*Conducts performance feedback and coaching to teams when necessary*Identifies issues and/or barriers to an efficient and effective Operations structure; andprepare appropriate recommendations and resolutions*Submits periodic Management reports*Addresses performance gaps and produces the implementation of solutions*Resolves, minimizes and manages people issues and operational risks*Communicates with other departments and inter-company affiliates as required*Implements and adapts operational procedures in accordance with the requirements of DIprojects as directed*Supports future company’s projects as required*Mentors and coaches team leaders in skills commensurate with their positions*Completes internal/external training and mentoring on commercial activities such asValuation, Classification and Post Clearance audit as required

*Leads the team in terms of timely issuance of Classification and Valuation reports*Conducts Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) post-audit for completedtransactions in order to check the risks concerning the Importer’s profile, Agent’s profile,Classification opinions and Valuation assessments.*Monitors the transactions to be completed by the team in a day-by-day basis.*Reviews the petitions and amendments submitted by the importer or agent pertaining tothe assessments done for every transaction.*Approval of high value and sensitive files with regards to the valuation assessment.*Mentoring of staff in terms of provision of correct HS Tariff codes and concrete valuationopinions.*Key Performance Indicators (KPI) analysis of the staff in a weekly basis to ensure quality.*Consolidation of assessed valuation opinions for certain products as per request of theOperations Manager.

*Conducts product or commodity research (particularly on specifications) in order toeffectively provide quality and technically-defensible Customs classification using theGlobal Harmonized System Nomenclature.*Provides a Detailed Product Description (DPD) on each product to be classified.*Evaluates transactions and provides Customs valuation opinion using applicable valuationmethodologies and relevant databases.*Conducts valuation assessment on traded commodities using applicable rules in the WorldTrade Organization (WTO) Agreement on Customs Valuation.*Ensures correct and timely issuance of Customs valuation opinion.*To liaise and coordinate with exporters and suppliers on the veracity of trade documents.*Authenticates the validity of trade transactions either through price research and/or directcommunication with exporters.*Verifies trade documents are in accordance to agreed terms between the exporter andimporter.*Conducts appropriate research methodologies to extract export prices of assortedcommodities and provides analyses of relevant information gathered.*Provides coaching on product classification and valuation methods to co-analysts.*Performs other related duties as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time

*Improvement of products such as marinates for meats, premixes for bakery products,breading and coatings for meats, and the likes*Development of new products needed by the marketing department*Product development assistance for R&D departments of Ramcar Food Group Brands suchas Kentucky Fried Chicken, Mister Donut and Tokyo Tokyo food chains*Process improvement of existing product line within the production facility*Production trial run of newly developed products*Raw material substitution for existing product line in order to meet food costing requirement*Shelf-life stability study of existing products*Documentation of Standard Processing Procedures of all products*Product costing computations*Product presentation to internal clients*Competitive checking of rival products*Evaluation and application of supplier’s samples*Perform occasionally microbiological analysis of existing products
