As the Front Frame Lead, I designed the front component of the MBR34 frame utilizing Siemens NX to optimize for weight, manufacturing, & packaging. This included developing a new manufacturing frame jig to ensure precision during construction and decrease manufacturing time. I also performed a FEA torsional testing analysis to ensure structural integrity goals were met (10x the suspension roll rate). I then also performed a physical torsional test to validate the FEA model. Furthermore, I coordinated with other subsystem leads (Suspension, Steering, Ergonomics) to ensure proper subsystem integration with the frame. And oversaw the manufacturing of jigs and tubes to ensure deadlines were met.

-Main project involving determining uplift multipliers for vehicle road loads in cold conditions as compared to EPA coast down F terms at STP conditions.-Developed an interpolation method to calculate vehicle road loads in different conditions to account for changes in drag as the vehicle warms up to allow for more accurate computer vehicle modeling.-Benchmarked BEVs to determine DC fast charging curve, rate, efficiency, and other metrics.-Worked in several testing environments such as the wind tunnel and test track to collect data on cold EV performance and competitor benchmarking on brake regen.-Researched and proposed a smart vehicle key fob with tracking, wireless charging, and mobile app integration to improve customer experience. -Compiled, analyzed, and presented customer vehicle data related to distance to empty, range, and charging.
