About Pierce Ellis

I have been in the Industrial Cutting Tool Market for over 40 years. My goal is to continue working with my Partner Curt Muller and build our market share in New England which is already substantial. With the present market conditions, market share is the best and only way to gage your progress. We are not giving up on new business for sure, but we see more moving out of New England than we see moving in. I am sure that holds true in many parts of our country. We have grown our Canadian market as well and our market share in Industrial Cutting Toolsis strong and we forecast a stronger market share in Canada by the end of 2010. That market is slow right now, but we see better opportunity in 2010, than in the two previous years.Specialties: Working with our distribution and teaching their sales personnel about the benefits of selling our product lines, and potential profit and increased production for their customer.

Curt Muller was President at Chandler & Farquhar and returned to the Rep business joining me for the second time. In 2010 we have plans to increase our business even in a down market. We have already added market share through the recession and will add to that percentage in 2010.
