Coordinator of a large-scale international Research and Innovation Project (100 researchers, geographically distributed between 18 Partners), funded by EU, Canadian, Russian, Brazilian funding. Objective is the significant reductions in aircraft development costs and time-to-market through the implementation of an integrated cyber-physical aeronautical supply chain, leveraging digital design technologies, such as MBSE and MDO.I am responsible for the project proposal and the successfull project acquisition (about 8M€ grant).I am responsible for the management of the activities, ensuring the communication between the partners and funding institutions, representing the Consortium with external organizations, ensuring the dissemination of the results and initiating exploitation opportunities.I am leading the research & development activities, as architect of the overall MBSE framework developed.

Objective of the project is the development of the next generation of aircraft product development processes (PDP) and MDO methods, to cut down 40% of aircraft design time & costs.The project received the prestigious “ICAS Award for Innovation in Aeronautics 2018”, by the "International Council of Aeronautical Sciences", awarded “for outstanding and innovative contributions to the development of advanced aeronautical systems”I was responsible for the project proposal, the project acquisition (about 10M€ grant), the management of the overall activities, and the technical leadership as architect for the overall MDO framework developed.
