I started developing software in high school for my robotics club, which participated in the FIRST Tech Challenge, a competition where teams have mobile robots complete various tasks in both an autonomous mode and a driver controlled mode. As the robot got refined and upgraded through the year, I would have to cope with rapidly changing situations: a new arm equipped with two motors, a complete change in the drive train, or even a complete overhaul two weeks before the competition.This experience has made me robust to changes in scope and requirement for projects and appreciative of agile methodologies. During my studies at the University of Alberta, I completed an internship with INVIDI Technologies, where I worked with C# and .NET.I intend to remain a software developer for the next few year and perhaps eventually get into a more design oriented position, like product owner, once I have more experience.
