EDF’s Asset Management division is responsible for managing the financial assets that hedge the 22bn€ liability derived from the forthcoming costs of decommissioning of the French nuclear power plants and the long term storage of nuclear waste. - Portfolio manager of the Fixed Income (7bn€) & Alternative Investment (300M€) Portfolios ( fund selection & asset class allocation): reshuffle of the whole portfolio structure, selection of 10+ asset managers for open ended funds, coordination of advisors for due diligences of hedge funds, launch of 5 segregated mandates,…;- Responsible of the Global Tactical Asset Allocation process(GTAA): implementation of 20+ quantitative models to support investments decisions;- Development of the portfolio construction metrics to calibrate active bets through different systems (APT, Bloomberg PORT).

-Responsible of the whole financial forecasts & reporting process at the firm level : budgeting, strategic plan, management and regulatory reporting ;- Negociation with the French NRA (CRE Commission de Régulation de l'Energie) for the setting of the tariff structure (indexation mecanisms, price cap/cost plus,…) and level (operational costs, cost of capital) for the the 2014-2016 period ;- Road shows for investors and rating agencies ;- Reshuffle of the whole forecasting process : moving from an Excel based system to an off the shelf software solution (Tagetik).

Working as a quantitative analyst in the research & development division on several projects related to statistics, finance and energy:- Models for day to day electricity consumption and electricity spot price forecasts;- Models for interconnexion auction prices forecasts;- Development of risk management tools for electricity futures portfolios;- working on different market designs for the french energy market opening : capacity market, imbalance settlment price ...
