MEP is in the business of power plants and running two power plants in the region of Kurdistan – Erbil, Duhok of 29 MW each. I was overall responsible for the management of both plants. Generated equipment’s to meet the load demands for Kurdistan Regional Government Ministry of Electricity; with direct contact with the ministry of electricity to manage expectations as needed.  Direct supervision on the mechanical and electrical staff Oversaw the managing of Diesel Engines (MAN) spare parts for both power plants Planned and budgeted for overall upcoming maintenance of each engine Unit Handled the monthly and daily meetings between the head of each department Handled the management between the operation and the maintenance staff in addition of managing plant activities and condition/risk/predictive Developed project budget and track project costs according to contractual obligations Planned, oversaw and directed electrical projects for construction Reviewed and studied project documents including estimates, design drawings, specifications, customer proposals and contracts Disseminated relevant information to various departments related to the project Monitored project progress and maintain project schedule
