About Pierre Barlier

For the entirety of my career, I have focused on building businesses that deliver meaningful consumer value that have a positive impact on our environment. After several successful business launches in France, I followed an instinct and moved to the U.S. to launch KeepCool, a reusable tote company that I hope has changed America’s shopping behavior for the better. KeepCool bags are now ubiquitous, with numerous national and international mass-retail chains offering some of the country’s most popular white-label reusable totes. Chances are, you have one in your home.I credit much of my success to simply trying to be the person I’d want to work with. By building trust, creating genuine connections, and making mutually beneficial choices that are better long term, I have been able to forge strong relationships with my customers and the long list of partners that allowed KeepCool to become what it is today. As a result, my customers, my partners and I have been able to deliver new solutions to fulfill unmet needs in the marketplace. The transparency and willingness to go the extra mile to find effective sustainable solutions have been key ingredients to each of my business launches, many of which went on to lead their markets in environmental progress. And I don’t mean to stop there.
