About Pierre Bertojo
I'm currently completing my PhD in fluid mechanics simulation. Graduated from ENSAM and ESTP (engineer schools), I am very interested in the field of motor sport (especially the formula 1) and in particular by the aerodynamic stakes. That's why I did my internship, after having specialized in fluid systems simulation before, at Renault Sport Racing in the CFD methodology department to have a first experience in the field of numerical simulation.

Thesis work in continuity with the thesis carried out by F. Hermet Simulations of violent transients and pulsed flows in turbines. The axes of study will be as follows i) Taking into account the three-dimensional effects of the flow ii) Gradual integration of the 3D vanes in the annular duct iii) Continuation of the parametric study carried out in 2D taking into account the scope of the blades and the geometric factors associated with them iv) Continuation of work on the analysis of the behavior of a laminar layer during the passage of a shock or a relaxation, using simulations with large scales.
