Pierre Cariou is Senior Professor at Kedge Business School since 2010 and Adjunct Professor at the World Maritime University (2021-2024), Visiting Research Scholar at Cornell University (2021-2022), a founding member of the porteconomics.eu platform.He was previously Professor at the World Maritime University (WMU) in charge of Shipping and Port Management specializations (2004-2010) and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at University of Nantes, France (2001-2004). He completed his PhD in 2000 on horizontal and vertical integration strategies in liner shipping at University of Nantes and at Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He received :- with T. Notteboom (University of Antwerp) and F.
