Based in Paris, the team was established in 2009 to offer investment solutions in the Private Debt / Direct Lending space, providing its investors with a leading-edge access to real economy financing opportunities in Europe. Within this universe, Zencap AM has progressively expanded from securitized debt into several synergistic business lines in Direct Lending.With AUM in excess of € 1bn, Zencap AM gathers experts in four main segments, and capitalizes on the many synergies arising across these teams:• Securitized debt (ABS, CLOs, CDOs…) and Regulatory Capital transactions• Real Estate debt• Infrastructure debt • Small and Medium-size enterprises debtOur business model relies on several pillars:• A niche player approach, making it possible to invest in segments where competition is scarcer• A deep and long-acquired knowledge and understanding of the Private Debt market and its players, providing a competitive edge in our sourcing and investment process• A healthy mix of institutional backing and entrepreneurial culture, making us very responsive in an ever-changing landscape of opportunitiesThe 12-people team was assembled over the last 6 years, around an initial core of former bankers (traders, structurers, marketers…) and now includes a wider range of backgrounds, all dedicated to investment and business development thanks to an operational partnership with OFI AM for operational and administrative functions. ZENCAP AM investor base spans across Institutional Investors, Private Banks, Family Offices and HNWI.
