Group Finance Director
Current- Management of a team of 25 people, including 5 directs, in charge of optimising and securing financial flows (accounting, treasury, management control, revenue accounting, aviation insurance, fuel and currency hedging) for the head office in Papeete and establishments based in Paris, Los Angeles, Auckland and Tokyo, as well as the Group's financial communications.- In charge of relations with the company's key partners - statutory auditors, financial institutions, the “Cour des Comptes”, the French Polynesian authorities (various Ministries and the Budget and Finance Administration) and aviation insurance brokers.- During COVID, implementation of a plan to freeze all non-essential expenditure and a voluntary redundancy plan (-20% of the workforce with savings generated greater than EUR 100m) and finalisation of new financings and subsidies with the French State and the government of French Polynesia (EUR 130m).- Responsible for the structured financing for the acquisition of 2 Boeing 787s (total investment of EUR 300m) in a scheme combining private and public sectors via a pool of bank lenders with an aircraft non-payment insurance scheme and tax investors operating under the French Overseas Investment Tax Assistance scheme (LODEOM) and the territory of French Polynesia.- Responsible for rolling out the dematerialisation of the supplier invoice validation process (Yooz),travel & expense reports (Premium RH) and customer refunds.- Creation of the administrative organisation and the financial management of Tahiti Nui Helicopters, Air Tahiti Nui’s subsidiary established in 2018 (total annual sales of EUR 8.5m, helicopter transport activity, medical evacuations). Implementation of a multi-year HEMS contract in the Marquesas Islands.
