- Provide support for establishing, upgrading and maintaining the development, test and production environments- Provide expert assistance to the team for programming, resolving applications problems- Assist with departemental training objectives and training documentation- Responsible for the development or modification of processes and procedures to support the deployment of new data management systems- Participate in initial discussion as required with clients to establish new standard or drive CLS standard across various clients- Lead the technical training programs across the organization. Determine training objectives. Write training programs.- Lead teams as a project manager or technical contributor as required to prototype and debug new processes and systems. Write or execute associated user acceptance test plan.

- Act as a primary liaison between assigned Sponsor’s Data Contacts and Covance.- Translates all documented customer expectations into a standard data transfer format to provide seamless services.- Responsible for the electronic data transfer frequency and technical services quality related to assigned clients.- Acts as a liaison between CDM and all other Covance departments to enhance cross-functional alignment and accountability for project deliverables. - Understands the protocol specifications, Data Transmission Agreements, and customer requirements/deliverables to be able to optimize internal standard processes, and communicate issues across functions within Clinical Data Management.- Manage and solve technical changes, issues and concerns.- Provides ongoing customer support- Participates in or attends:a. Customer meetings, including visits to the clientb. Conference callsc. Client auditsd. Client presentations- Manages timely completion of sponsor requests by supervising or processing:a. File creation instructions- Provides documentation to all departments who need to be informed about special requirements of Covance or commitments made by Covance to support their protocols.- Maintains current knowledge of industry standards and trends by attending individualized in-house training sessions, as well as external and internet-based training.- Provides solutions and/or alternatives to meet customers’ requests or expectations as defined by protocol requirements.- Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality and productivity.
