Working on radar applications, mainly for hydrology, based on SAR imagers, SAR and LRM altimeters, python, QGIS and more tools.

Developped a SAR+SARIN empirical retracker in Python, dedicated to Hydrology and Sea Ice.Sea ice classification schemes of SAR images using Machine Learning (in particular the Random Forest algorihtm).Machine Learning techniques for the production of Sentinel-1 derived Water Masks, their automated verification with Sentinel-2 images and their use altimetry (Sentinel-3, CryoSat-2).Research Engineer & Project Manager - ESA Cryo-SEANICE project : SAR & SARIN altimetry, Retracking, Waveforms Classification, Interferometric Freeboard, Swath Processing with CryoSat data over sea ice.Multi-sensor synergy software development at Aʟᴏɴɢ-Tʀᴀᴄᴋ.Copernicus Research User Service (RUS) Sentinel-1. Produced and teached several trainings on water and sea ice mapping from Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 imagery, both in face to face and as webinar, using the ESA SNAP software as well as QGIS.

Passed the Drone Pilot National Certification at DGAC.Trained and practised drone piloting under the French regulation,Started photogrammetry with Agisoft METASHAPE (see further down) as well as aerial photography post-processing (Adobe LightRoom) and basic video mounting in the DJI-Fly application.

Within the Copernicus Reasearch User Service (R.U.S.) I gave 4 trainings with hands on the SAR Image Processing Toolbox SNAP from the European Space Agency (ESA) :- 3 trainings on Water Mapping with Sentinel-1 SAR images and Sentinel-2 optical Images based on Machine Learning and Streetmap data.- 1 training on Sea Ice Classification with Sentinel-1 SAR images.

- Simulation of future instrument data: Doppler Scatterometer study (IDL programming language) simulating the raw data from a Fixed Fan Beam scatterometer with Doppler preserved information and calibrated NRCS both related to the 10m wind via the use of the CDOP and CMOD GMFs- Full development of an automatized SAR image segmentation software (IDL programming language). The algorithm, freely available in the literature through several PhD theses, controls the evolution of an active grid by minimizing the stochastic complexity (MDL principle) of the segmented image. Application to water bodies delineation on emerged lands, pollution detection on sea surface, sea-ice and iceberg delineation.- SAR Doppler Centroid and Doppler Anomaly estimation- Design and Implementation of a precise and realistic Scatterometer Data Simulation Tool that involves folded Doppler spectra at all range gates. Objective is to confirm the possibility to retrieve both wind and sea surface current from such future space-borne instrument.- GNSS Passive Bistatic Radar study, for ship detection with a patent.

2002-2009 ESA/ESTEC-Noordwijk - Monitoring the design and development of digital electronics modules for Sentinel-1 (Chirp Generator, Instrument Control Unit, Tile Control Unit, Decimation filter and Digital I/Q Demodulation, raw SAR data compression). - Advanced Concept for Radar Sounding study: assessment and simulation of clutter suppression algorithms for a future satellite mission aimed at mapping ice thickness on the poles. - Monitoring the development of a High Rate Telemetry Encryption breadboard for the protection of Satellite Telemetry data at 600Mbps with AES cryptography. - Took part to the standardization of SpaceWire links, nodes, routers and networks (ECSS E50-12A) and to the SpaceWire RMAP basic transport protocol (ECSS E50-11) - Conducted several R&D projects for the development of SpaceWire equipment: and in particular a SpaceWire Router ASIC AT7910E: 10 ports, 200 Mbps per port in both directions, Group Adaptive Routing, router reconfiguration with RMAP, physical & logical addressing.

- Managed the developpement of a space qualified high speed link router (spacewire)- followed (in phase B/C) the development of some digital electronics modules (mainly control and receive modules) for the new european synthetic aperture radar Sentinel-1.
