After secondary school was Student Apprentice with Bristol Aircraft Ltd, later, was engineer on early Concorde Development focusing on liason with Sud Aviation France and British Aircraft Corporation. Was Technical Assistant to Sir George Edwards Chairman of the project.Later was an Elected Member of Jersey's Parliament for 27 years. Held senior posts of Planning, Agriculture, Finance and Policy and Resources. Retired from Role 2002.2003 was appointed Chairman of Jersey Finance Ltd, a company part funded by Government and part by Financial Services Industry to promote Jersey Finance Industry world wide.
