Lead UX design research and implementation for diverse features and modules of the Casebook platform for child welfare information management. Collaborated on the creation of the Casebook Intake module, including developing a research plan, conducting user interviews, and solving complex design issues. The result is a product that provides intake workers and supervisors with an efficient and effective way to capture information about child abuse and neglect. And, importantly, the product provides workers with an easy to understand visualization of the most critical decision-making information at each stage of the intake process.Serve as a core member of the product team, involved in projects and new products from early stage ideation through implementation. Participate in agile/scrum processes, including inceptions, iteration planning meetings, stand ups and retrospectives. Collaborate with internal and external product managers and stakeholders, as well as engineers, data scientists, QA engineers to deliver effective experience to users. Design using a variety of tools, starting with pen/paper and wire framing tools at the early stage to static prototypes using Creative Suite all the way to high fidelity clickable prototypes that can be used for testing or as reference documents for engineers.Experienced in designing to Section 508 accessibility standards and responsive design standards, and use of common as well as custom pattern libraries.
