I am passionate about the intersection of food and robotics. I believe that our diet and our gut play a more significant role in our health and wellbeing than we credit them. By creating convenient and affordable food options that are a nourishing alternative to junk food, we aspire to improve the health of as many people as we can reach. We strive to remain ecologically conscious so that we can also improve the health of the planet in the process.I gained much of my robotics experience from working at iRobot for 7 years on nimble and rugged bomb disposal and reconnaissance robots. After leaving iRobot, I started Party Robotics and launched Bartendro - a cocktail dispensing robot, on Kickstarter in 2013. Running my own company was a huge undertaking and a tremendous learning opportunity at every level.After finding it too difficult to maintain sustainable revenue, I took a job at Apple to learn how to build the ultimate in consumer hardware and connect with people in the Bay Area, all while continuing to maintain Party Robotics on the side.
