I am working on air pollution and climate change impacts on forests and on air pollution removal capacity of urban trees, by using integrated modelling; deposition model; epidemiological studies; and statistical and multivariate analyses. I am involved in numerous national & EU-funded projects as coordinator (e.g., AIRFRESH, GreenSpace, FO3REST) or Principal Investigator and steering committee. I have also experience in assessment of air pollution impacts on human health and developed an Aggregate Risk Index.
